We recently helped a Back Bay homeowner get their condo back in shape before family came to town for the week. Here is what the job looked like and what we took care of.
What the client needed
The client had been traveling for work over the past few weeks. The apartment wasn’t in bad shape — but the kitchen had buildup on the stovetop and inside the microwave, the bathrooms needed a proper scrub, and the floors and baseboards had that quiet layer of dust that builds up when no one’s been home. They reached out for a one-time deep cleaning service — not a quick wipe-down, but a full room-by-room reset.
What we cleaned
In the kitchen we hit the stovetop, oven exterior, microwave inside and out, cabinet fronts, sink and faucet, countertops, and floor. The bathrooms got a full treatment — toilet, tub, shower tiles and grout, sink, mirror, floor, and light fixtures. For the living areas and bedrooms we dusted all surfaces, wiped down baseboards, vacuumed the rugs, and mopped the hardwood floors throughout. The kind of cleaning that gets the spots people stop noticing until someone else points them out.
How it went
The team was in and out in about three hours. By the time we were done, the kitchen smelled clean instead of stale, the bathroom tiles were back to white, and the floors were clear enough to actually reflect the light coming in off the street. The client mentioned it felt like moving in again for the first time.
That’s the goal every time. A house cleaning shouldn’t just be maintenance — it should reset the space so it genuinely feels good to be home. When a job goes well, the client doesn’t have to think about it. They just notice the difference.
